Who We Are

God’s Storehouse, a non-profit food pantry serving Danville and Pittsylvania County, has an opening for a part-time Marketing, Social Media and Donor Management Coordinator (30 hours per week). The position is responsible for maintaining all social media platforms for God’s Storehouse in order to engage the Danville and Pittsylvania County communities and others outside the area that are interested in God’s Storehouse. This position manages the tracking and acknowledgement of monetary donations received by God’s Storehouse to ensure timely responses to donors. Secondary responsibilities include: assisting the warehouse manager with creating a food distribution list, assisting with month end food inventory, inventory and ordering warehouse and office supplies. Key responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing social media campaigns, assisting in managing God’s Storehouse presence on social media sites, identifying, tracking and reporting social media coverage and its effectiveness, data entry of monetary donations into the donation system, and producing and sending donor acknowledgements, and analysis of donation trends. This position will work directly with the Executive Director, Assistant Director, and chairpersons of the Marketing and Fund Raising Committee.

Skills: excellent oral and written communication skills; social media proficiency, Microsoft Office application proficiency; strong organizational skills and attention to detail, experience working independently and as part of team; general office administration experience.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, college degree preferred. 2-3 years of social media and administrative experience.
