Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunities Available

Volunteers are an integral part of our organization. We rely on the talents, skills and generosity of many wonderful volunteers to ensure that those in need are able to receive food. To help, simply complete one of the registration forms in the links below.


Individual Volunteering

Individuals are needed on a regular basis to check-in customers, distribute food boxes and pick up food donations in addition to many other tasks.

  1. View a complete list of our Regular Volunteer Needs.
  2. If you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis, serving as an Alternate, or serving for Special Events, download and print the Volunteer Registration Form and return it to God’s Storehouse at 750 Memorial Drive or to the Assistant Director via email at emily@godsstorehouse.org.
  3. Attend a Volunteer Orientation.

Community Service Volunteering

God's Storehouse accepts volunteers who need to complete community service hours that are court mandated or to pay off court fines.

  1. Read our Community Service Volunteer Guidelines.
  2. Download, print and complete the Community Service Volunteer Registration Form and return it to God’s Storehouse at 750 Memorial Drive or to the Assistant Director via email at emily@godsstorehouse.org.
  3. Attend a Volunteer Orientation.

School/Scholarship Credit Volunteering

God's Storehouse accepts students who need to complete community service hours that are for school or scholarship credit.

  1. Read our One-Time Community Service Volunteer Guidelines.
  2. Visit Serve365.org to sign up for a volunteer shift with God's Storehouse.
  3. Download, print and complete the One-Time Community Service Volunteer Release Form.

Group/Congregation Volunteering

Volunteer groups are occasionally needed to assist with various projects in our warehouse.

  1. Read our Warehouse Volunteer Guidelines for more information about group volunteering. 
  2. Contact the Assistant Director via email at emily@godsstorehouse.org to learn about available group volunteer opportunities.

Malcom Huckabee Backpacks Volunteering

Volunteers are needed during the school year to pack food for elementary children to take home over the weekend.

  1. Contact emily@godsstorehouse.org for more information about volunteer opportunities with the Backpacks program 

Urban Farm Volunteering

Volunteers are needed throughout the year to maintain the Urban Farm and complete special projects.

  1. Read our Urban Farm Volunteer Guidelines.
  2. Download, print and complete the Urban Farm Volunteer Release Form and return it to God’s Storehouse at 750 Memorial Drive or to the Urban Farm Coordinator via email at urbanfarm@godsstorehouse.org.
