2026 Bats & Badges Softball Championship Fundraiser

The purpose is a tournament that honors our local first responders, brings them together in a fun, stress-free way, and raises money for God’s Storehouse.

  • WHAT'S HAPPENING
    • Four teams made up of members of city and county fire departments, police department, sheriff department, Danville Life Saving Crew, and other first responders will compete in tournaments on Saturday, September 5. The two teams with the best record will proceed to the championship game on Friday, September 11.
    • Concessions will be available during the tournament and championship games, as well as souvenir t-shirts.
    • A 50/50 raffle will be held during the championship. Raffle tickets are $5/ticket or 5 for $20.
    • Sponsorships are available: Single $100, Double $200, Triple $300, Homerun $500, Grand Slam $1000. To be a sponsor, contact Shelby Irving by email or phone.
    • Tickets for each event are $10. Discounted tickets for first responders, children 4 to 12, and seniors 60+ are $8. Children under 4 are free.
  • WHEN and WHERE
    • Tournament games on Saturday, September 5 start at 10:00am
      • At the Danville Distributing and Goodyear softball fields at Dan Daniel Park
      • Tickets can be purchased at Danville Fire Department headquarters 600 Lynn Street or at the gate.
    • Championship game on Friday, September 11 
      • At the American Legion Field (Otterbots) at Dan Daniel Park
      • Gates open at 5:00pm, Home Run Derby at 5:30pm, championship game to follow
      • Tickets can be purchased at Danville Fire Department headquarters or at God’s Storehouse 750 Memorial Drive or at the gate.

All proceeds go to God's Storehouse.

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us.
